Is it possible to get other affiliate marketers to help you build your list? Sure it is, and I bet you have seen it already, you just didn't recognize it for what it is.

Have you seen all these products that give you the right to promote it for 100% of the profits? Well, what is really happening here is that when you promote this product to your list, you get the money, but the product owner gets the lead, and a very valuable lead at that. This lead is a confirmed buyer!

You can do the same thing by setting the product in your affiliate program to pay 100% commission. The buyer comes to your site to download the product, giving you his email address before he downloads. You should offer a one time offer at this time, which gives you a little profit from the deal. It would be a good idea to give the referring affiliate a percentage of the one time offer as well; the more profit he makes, the more he promotes your link.

Why should anyone else promote your product you might ask? Well, every guru needs products the same as the rest of us. If your product is good, and applies to their niche, why shouldn't they promote it? After all, you're giving them 100% of the profit for just sending out an email.

Is it worth it? You bet it is. While you don't make money on the initial sale, you now have a paying customer, as long as your product was first rate. When you consider the future value of that customer, you realize why this method of listbuilding is becoming so popular.

So what do you need to pull this off? First, you need a high quality product of your own. It should not be a shop worn ebook that can be found anywhere. Put your best foot forward here. You could make it a small version of a larger course, but it needs to be a good value for the sales price.

Next, you will need a one time offer so that you make a little profit. Here you could offer the larger version of the course at a reduced price, or some other related product. The product should be related to the first sale however.

And then, of course, you need an affiliate program and autoresponder. There are many products out there that can do the job, but the best affiliate software that I have seen anywhere is JVManager. The JVManager1 software will cost you $97 and will manage your affiliate program and a lot more. JVManager2 is much more expensive, but is a great program if you are ready for that level. Either program will work seamlessly with your autoresponder, making sure that you get your lead, the customer gets their product, and the affiliate gets his money.

It really is very simple. I guess you are paying for the lead in a way, but you're not out of pocket any cash, only your product. Make sure that you have each customer give you their email address before receiving their product. The easiest way to do this is to deliver the product or download link by email, using your autoresponder of course.

You've gained a nice list of paying customers; but, don't ignore the value of the affiliate on your list either. Surely you have other products for him to promote, making a tidy profit for both of you.
